I Made a Doctor: SAMSA UKZN
Facing financial exclusion can be one of the most heartbreaking and devastating situations that any student can face
With 333 unfunded students at risk of not registering this year, we are urgently and humbling appealing to communities to help raise funds to keep our future doctors in medical school
The UKZN chapter of the South African Medical Student’s Association is trying to raise R60 000 towards the “I MADE A DOCTOR” campaign, which has been started by the SRC. The goal of the campaign is to raise funds towards historic debt and registration fees for students.
If you are able to help with a donation of even R50, it will definitely help towards reaching our goal of R60 000.
Our aim is to fill up each letter of the image as we receive donations, showing how collective efforts can achieve great results. It also signifies that as a student body, we are not complete until all of our students are registered. The registration deadline is 05 March 2021.
Any amount that you can offer will make a big difference to the lives of students, their families, and society.
